Born in 2019, YAWN unfolds as both artifact and provocation, part design experiment, part cultural archive. We launched the world’s first psychedelic card game, built a design-driven retail platform, and continue to support research funding, indigenous medicine preservation efforts and policy reform, all while making education accessible. Together, these efforts form a living dialogue on well-designed tools, healing, reciprocity, and modern ritual.
Our mission is to make psychedelic wellness more accessible, less clinical, and actually enjoyable through in-person gatherings, thoughtful tools and education that feels human.
We are building culture around the idea that slowing down isn’t weakness, it’s wisdom.
YAWN is not about sleep.
It’s about waking up.
‍
*At YAWN, the word “psychedelic” means states of expanded perception, not substances.
We don’t promote or sell anything illegal.
Wellness didn’t start in the West and it shouldn’t be owned by it.
The rituals we celebrate today: plant medicine, meditation, yoga, slowing down, are rooted in ancestral knowledge and protected by communities long before they became trends.
At YAWN, we move with respect.
We’re not here to co-opt or capitalize.
We’re here to listen, learn, and amplify.
As a female-founded brand, we use our platform to support the people and organizations doing the real work through education, advocacy, and funding that supports access and reform in the wellness and plant medicine space.
Because care isn’t just personal, it’s collective.
And equity isn’t optional. It’s the baseline.
From 2019 to 2024, YAWN donated a portion of proceeds from every Sporewear item sold to the Heffter Research Institute—a pioneering nonprofit funding some of the world’s most influential clinical studies on psilocybin for mental health.
Part of your purchase in 2025 onwards, goes to support the Indigenous Medicine Conservation Fund (IMC): protecting land, culture, and community.
We have also supported organizations like the Fireside Project,
offering free psychedelic peer support, and the Drug Policy Alliance,
driving crucial work in drug policy reform.
